Student Conclave India is DTORR's flagship knowledge and industry-engagement platform, bringing together students, academia, and industry leaders from the tourism, hospitality, and aviation sectors on a single stage. Established in 2020 to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice, the conclave has since been hosted by leading institutions across the country, including Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University, Bangalore University, and Goa University.
The 6th Edition of Student Conclave India will be hosted by Martin Luther Christian University, Shillong, from 1–3 October 2026. Designed as an experiential learning platform, the three-day conclave will feature expert talks, panel discussions, competitions, industry interactions, and recognition of excellence in tourism education and research. It offers students direct exposure to real-world insights, meaningful networking opportunities, and emerging trends shaping the tourism ecosystem, while supporting the development of future-ready talent for the sector.
Supported by UN Tourism, State Tourism Departments, and industry organizations, Student Conclave India continues to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and inspire students to confidently transition into professional careers. By encouraging collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation, it remains a national platform for nurturing the next generation of tourism leaders and building a stronger, more connected tourism ecosystem across India.
